Sourcing Rough Diamonds
As Namakwa Diamonds is not a De Beers' sight holder, historically its business sourced its supply of rough diamonds from open market acquisitions and tender auctions in South Africa. Today, the Company has expanded its reach to source Kimberley Process compliant diamonds from its own mine production and a wider chain of supply, in South Africa, the DRC and Namibia, as well as through local and international tender, open market purchases and co-operation agreements with third parties.
