The Sales & Trading Divisions add significant value to the Mining Division through an integrated approach to the supply and demand dynamic in the global industry.
Namakwa Diamonds started life as a sales and trading operation in the late 1970’s and today, the Company’s trading and manufacturing operations compliment the in-house production from the Mining Division’s southern African resource base, providing a transparent audit trail from rough to polished product.
The division’s strategy is to provide added margin through the sale or manufacture of parcels of own and third party production, allowing Namakwa Diamonds to benefit from in-category pricing knowledge, a targeted customer pipeline and significant downstream reach.
